Bot privacy
This page is about the Discord bot. The website account is described on the data page.
Joining
When you join the server, the bot receives your Discord user id long enough to add the member role. It does not keep a member list.
The closed channel
In that channel the bot receives the message so it can ban the author and delete the channel history. It does not keep the message text. Discord keeps the ban.
Commands
The text of a slash command is used once to query the public site. The bot does not save that query. It does not read your password, email, or private site data.
What stays on disk
On the operator's machine the bot keeps the ids of site versions it has already announced, and the Discord message id of that post. That file is not a list of members.
Announcements
The bot reads the public feed. A post can include screenshots and one short video that the author already published on the mod page. The bot does not sell data and does not build an advertising profile. Mentions are off.
Discord's privacy policy covers the Discord account. Questions can go to the hzmods Discord server.
